CONONLEY MAN KILLED IN THE WAR

Information has been received that Private Albert Barker, formerly a porter at the Midland Railway Station, Cononley, has been killed in action whilst serving in the British Army. Deceased, who was an army reserve man and pensioner, left Cononley in April last. He was called up immediately on the outbreak of hostilities. He has left a widow and two children.
