Harold Wright (born 19 October 1895) was the son of Thomas and Lucy Wright, née Robinson. Thomas was born in the Bishopside area, near Pateley Bridge, Yorkshire and Lucy at Balderton, Nottinghamshire. Harold lived for part of his life with his uncle and aunt, Joseph and Anne Clemie, née Wright.

Harold was the cousin of my grand father, Thomas Wright, who was born in 1901 and was also born in Addingham. It has taken me years to research Harold and what happened to him. He had an unhappy life as both his parents were dead by the time he was 7. He was brought up by his aunt and uncle the Clemie family and is buried with them in a family plot at Heaton cemetery in Bradford. In his early years he lived next door to my grandfather and siblings in Addingham. It is a great shame that no photo of him survives.
