Thomas Edward Haresnape (born 10 March 1881) was the son of John Richard and Elizabeth Haresnape, née Bayliff. John was born at Sedbergh, Yorkshire and Elizabeth at Firbank, Westmorland.

The 1921 Census shows that Minnie (35 years and 9 months, born Milnsbridge, Yorkshire), her daughter Vera (aged 15 years and 6 months) and Minnie's sister Helena Wood, a widow, were living at 10, Springfield Road, Huddersfield. Vera married George Norman Jepson in 1932; she died in 1977.
