NEWS WANTED

On March 21st last, Private Albert Titterington, of the 2/4th Royal Berkshire Regt., son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Titterington, Town Green, West Bradford, was reported missing and no news of his fate has been since received. Mr. and Mrs. Titterington would be glad to receive from returning prisoners, or from other sources, any news concerning their son.

WEST BRADFORD – PTE. ALBERT TITTERINGTON PRESUMED DEAD

Mr. and Mrs. A. Titterington, of Town Green, West Bradford, have now received official intimation stating that their son, Pte. Albert Titterington, 2/4th Royal Berkshire Regiment, is to be presumed killed. He was reported missing on March 21st, 1918, and no further information has been forthcoming. The deceased soldier was only nineteen years of age, and was the first eighteen-year-old recruit to leave West Bradford. He was employed on the Eaves Hall estate, and was a member of the choir at St. Catherine’s. He was also connected with the village Reading Room.
