CLARKE - In loving memory of Arthur Joseph Clark, reported killed in France, March 22nd, 1918.

In health and strength he left his home,
Not thinking death was near;
It pleased the Lord to bid him come
In his presence to appear.
Some day we hope to meet him,
Some day we know not when.
To clasp his hand in the better land,
Never to part again.

From his Father and Mother, also Friends, 12 Hardcastle Yard, Skipton.

CLARK - In loving memory of Arthur Joseph Clark, reported killed in France March 22nd, 1918, in his 24th year.

When you were going away, my boy,
You tried to soothe my pain
As you said "Don't worry mother'
I shall soon be home again."
My boy, my boy, our heart's still sore,
As time goes on we miss you more.
