Charles Jeffries (born 16 April 1899) was the son of Thomas and Jane Jeffries, née Williamson. Jane was born at Runcorn, Cheshire.
1901 Huncoat, Lancashire Census: 2, Higher Gate - Charles Jeffries, aged 1 year, born Huncoat, son of Thomas and Jane Jeffries.
1911 Kelbrook, Yorkshire Census: Dotcliffe Road - Charles Jeffries, aged 11 years, born Huncoat, Lancashire, son of Jane and [stepson of] William Brookes. [Jane had married William Brookes in 1907.]
Charles was married to Beatrice Bentley in 1918.
The British Army Pension Record for Charles Jeffries (4295) exists but may be incomplete. [Charles joined the 3/6th Bn Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment) on the 20 May 1915. He was discharged as being under age on the 18 September 1915.]
