BARNOLDSWICK – Driver C. Shuttleworth

Driver Cooper Shuttleworth, R.F.A., who died of wounds in France on October 29th, was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. John Shuttleworth, Stoney Bank Farm, Earby. He was 27 years of age and single. A letter from the sister in charge of a C.C.S. states that he arrived there in a very dangerous condition, suffering from wounds in the thigh and ankle, and passed away the same day. Driver Shuttleworth had served nearly two years in France, and prior to enlistment assisted his father on the farm.

DRIVER C. SHUTTLEWORTH

Driver Cooper Shuttleworth, R.F.A., who died of wounds in France on Oct. 29th, was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. John Shuttleworth, Stoney Bank Farm, Earby. He was 27 years of age and single. A letter from the sister-in-charge of a casualty clearing station states that he arrived there in a very dangerous condition, suffering from wounds in the thigh and ankle, and passed away the same day. Driver Shuttleworth had served nearly two years in France, and prior to enlistment assisted his father on the farm.
