Henry Preston (born 20 April 1895) was the son of Robert and Ellen Preston, née Hodkinson. Robert was born at Accrington and Ellen at Chipping, Lancashire.

Pvt. Harry Preston, only son of Mr. Preston of Walker Fold, Chaigley, killed whilst going into the trenches on night duty on Sept 30th 1916. 21 years of age, his previous employment was on Lord Crawshaw's Hareden Estate.
