WOUNDED AND MISSING

Official news has been received by Mrs. Inman, 17 North Street, Silsden, that her son Private Joshua Inman, South Staffordshire Regiment, has been missing since 10th April, after he had been in France about 12 days. Private Inman is 19 years of age and joined up about a year ago. He trained at Ashford, Kent, Sheffield, and Brockton Camp, Staffs. He has another brother serving in Mesopotamia – Driver Tom Inman, of the Machine Gun Section.

SILSDEN – DIED IN A GERMAN HOSPITAL

Mrs. Inman, of 15 North Street, Silsden, has received official news that her son, Private Joshua Inman, South Staffordshire Regiment, died of wounds in a German Field Hospital at Rouge, France, on April 3rd, 1918. Private Inman was 19 years of age, and joined up on the 24th May, 1917. After training at Rugeley, and Ashford in Kent, he went to France on the 30th March, 1918. Prior to enlisting he was employed as a warehouseman by Messrs. Berry and Fletcher, Airedale Shed, Silsden. Mrs. Inman’s only other son, Driver Tom Inman, is serving in Mesopotamia.

Silsden Soldier Missing

Official news has been received by Mrs. Inman, 17, North Street, Silsden, that her son, Pte. Joshua Inman, of the South Staffordshire Regiment, has been missing since April 10th. He had only been in France about ten days. Pte. Inman, who is 19 years of age, joined up about a year ago. He has another brother serving in Mesopotamia, Driver Tom Inman, of the Machine Gun Section.

Silsden Soldier’s Death in German Hospital

News has been received by Mrs. Inman, 15, North Street, Silsden, that her son. Pte. Joshua Inman, South Staffordshire Regiment, died of wounds on April 13th in a German Field Hospital, at Rouge, France. He had been missing from April 10th. Pte. Inman joined up in May, 1917, and went out to France in March, 1918. Another brother, Driver Tom Inman, is serving in Mesopotamia.
