Myles Rowe (true name: Miles Raw) was the son of David and Sarah Raw, née Till. David was born at Garsdale, Yorkshire and Sarah at Nateby, Lancashire.
1891 Barnoldswick, Yorkshire Census: Church Street - Miles Raw, aged 9 years, born West Sedberg [sic], Yorkshire, son of David and Sarah Raw.
1901 Lancaster, Lancashire Census: Lancaster Barracks - Lance-Corporal Myles Rowe, Royal Lancaster Regiment, aged 21 years, born Dent, Yorkshire.
Myles was married to Lilian Eva Denton in 1911 whilst he was serving in India.
