Richard Farnworth (born 20 November 1894) was the son of Thomas and Sophia Farnworth, née Cronshaw. Thomas was born at Chorley and Sophia at Blackburn, Lancashire. Richard was baptized at St James' Church, Blackburn on the 6 January 1895. Thomas and Sophia were married at St James' on the 2 February 1895.
