GARGRAVE - DIED OF WOUNDS

News has been received of the death from wounds in France of Private Thomas Clark Bentham, 8, Earl Street, Colne, formerly of Gargrave, and a grandson of the late Mr. Thos. Clark, of Settle. He was wounded December 2nd last, and died the following day, aged 24 years. We will give a photograph of the deceased soldier next week.

We reproduce a photograph of the late Private Thomas Clark Bentham, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bentham, of 8, Earl Street, Colne, formerly of Gargrave, and a grandson of Mr. Thomas Clark, of Settle, who was wounded in France December 2nd last, and died the following day, aged 24 years.
