OUR ROLL OF HONOUR

Former Colne Bank Clerk Missing

Information has been received that Private Willie Haigh, of the King’s Liverpool Regiment, son of Mr. R.F. Haigh, cycle dealer, and Mrs. Haigh, of 73, Keighley-road, Colne, is reported missing from May 29th. Private Haigh was well known and highly respected in Colne before joining the Army in May, 1917, and was formerly employed as a clerk in the Bank of Liverpool. He is only 19 years of age, and went to France last Easter. Prior to enlisting he was one of the secretaries of the Trinity Baptist School, Colne. Mr. and Mrs. Haigh will be glad to hear any news concerning their son.
