EARBY

News also came to hand last weekend of the death in France of another soldier who enlisted from Earby-Lance-Corporal Wm. Henry Wilson, of the D Company 1st East Lancashire Regiment. Better known as ‘Tug’ Wilson he worked for some time before joining the Army as a weaver at Spring Mill, and lodged in Aspen Lane. He was 32 years of age and a native of Burnley.
