RATHMELL – PTE. WM. J. AIREY KILLED

It is with deep regret we record the death from gunshot wounds in the spine, at Netley Hospital, of Private William J. Airey, of the Canadian Contingent, on October 14th, the interment taking place at Yealand, near Carnforth. In July last he marred Anne, daughter of Mr. W. H. Walker, Rathmell, for whom much sympathy is felt.
