NUTTER – In loving memory of our brother Private W. Nutter, who died of wounds in France on 12th April, 1918.

One year has gone, our hearts still sore,
As time rolls on we miss him more;
His tender smile, his loving face,
None can fill the vacant place.

NUTTER – In loving memory of Private Willie Nutter, Northumberland Fusiliers, died of wounds, April 12th, 1918.

We are thinking of you today dear,
Thinking of the past;
Picturing in our memory
Just as we saw you last.
We had pictured our glad meeting,
When home from the War you came;
But God thought it best to call you,
Where we know we shall meet again.

From Aunts and Cousins.

Who loved him in life and love him still;
From memory’s page we’ll never blot
Three little words, “Forget him not.”
