Ilkley Officer Killed

Captain (Acting Adjutant) Brian Dacre, Duke of Wellington’s Regiment, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Dacre, of Mount Pleasant, Ilkley, has been killed in action. He was 29 years of age, and was formerly associated with his father in the auctioneer’s business at Otley. His brother was killed in action about twelve months ago.
