Arthur Noel Edwards (born 10 December 1883) was the son of Arthur Janion and Hilda Margaret Edwards, née Tennant. Arthur, senior, was born at West Derby, Lancashire and Hilda at Thorner, Yorkshire. Arthur, junior, was the cousin of T/Captain Robert Edward Tennant (q.v.) and cousin of Lieutenant John H.A. Tennant (q.v.).
