SEDBERGH – DIED OF WOUNDS

SISSON, Pte. Charles James, of the 22nd Durham Light Infantry, died of wounds in France on the 27th May. Pte. Sisson, who was only 18, joined up in September, 1917. He served part of his apprenticeship with his father as a carpenter on the Ingmire estate, and later with Messrs. Gilkes and Co., Kendal.
