Isaac Edward Atkinson (born 16 April 1886) was the son of Stephen and Rebecca Atkinson, née Bradley. Both parents were born at Kirkby Lonsdale, Westmorland. Stephen died in 1888.

1891 Kirkby Lonsdale, Westmorland Census: Mitchelgate - Isaac Edward Atkinson, aged 5 years, born Kirkby Lonsdale, son of Rebekah Atkinson, widow.

1901 Silsden, Yorkshire Census: 10, Daisy Hill - Isaac A. [Atkinson?] Sykes, aged 14 years, born Kirkby Lonsdale, Westmorland, son of Rebbeca [sic] and [stepson of] Henry Sykes. [Rebecca had married Henry Sykes in 1891.]

Isaac was married to Isabella Howarth in 1908.
