Corporal James T. Thompson, Skipton

One of five brothers who have served with the Colours (two of whom have been discharged), Corporal James T. Thompson, West Riding Regiment, son of Mrs. J. Thompson, of 28 Pembroke Street, Skipton, has paid the supreme sacrifice, his death being caused by a shell. He was 24 years of age and had been in the Army about two years, 20 months of which he had spent in France. He was formerly in the employ of Mr. Foster Horner, painter and plumber, Skipton.

Corpl. J.T. Thompson Killed

News has been received that Corpl. James T. Thompson. West Riding Regiment, son of Mr. J. Thompson, of 28, Pembroke Street, Skipton, has been killed in action by a shell. Corpl. Thompson, who is 24 years of age, joined the army about two years ago, having served one year and month in France. He was formerly employed by Mr. Foster Horner, painter and plumber, Skipton. He was one of five brothers who have served with the colours, two of whom have been discharged.
