1911 Coniston Cold, Yorkshire Census: Wheelwright, Coniston Hall - James McNaught Thomson, aged 14 years, born, Urr, Kirkcudbrightshire, son of William Walker and Jessie Jane McNaught Thomson. [Urr is a parish. In SDGW his birthplace is given as Kirkpatrick which may be Kirkpatrick Durham, both a village and parish bordering Urr Parish.]

James served in the Army as Thompson.
