John was married to Harriet Elizabeth Woodward in 1909.

BARNOLDSWICK

Private John Reddiough, Duke of Wellington’s, killed in action in France on November 4th, was 31 years of age, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Reddiough, 18 Chapel Street, Barnoldswick. He leaves a wife (now residing at Nelson), but no family. Private Reddiough served in the Dardanelles expedition and in Egypt before going to France, where he was wounded on the Somme in 1916. He only returned to France about two months prior to being killed.

Pte. John Reddiough, Duke of Wellington’s Regiment, killed in action on Nov. 4th., was 31 years of age and the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Reddiough, 18, Chapel Street Barnoldswick.
