EARBY – Private John Reedy Killed

Mrs. E. Reedy, 22 Grove Street, Earby, has received from an Army Chaplain a letter informing her of the death of her son Private John Reedy, H.L.I., who was killed in action on September 28th. He was 20 years of age. Private Reedy. who was formerly a weaver at Grove Shed, Earby, enlisted in August 1916, and went out to France in October last year. His elder brother has been serving at the front since the beginning of the war.

Mrs. E. Reedy, of 22, Grove Street, Earby, has received from an army chaplain a letter informing her of the death of her son, Pte. John Reedy, H.L.I., who was killed in action on Sept. 28th. He was 20 years of age. Pte. Reedy, who was formerly a weaver at Grove Shed, Earby, enlisted in August, 1916, and went out to France in October last year.
