Walter Parker was the son of Daniel and Martha Parker, née Shuttleworth and brother of Gunner Edgar Parker (127193) (q.v.). Both of their parents were born at Kelbrook, Yorkshire. Walter and Edgar were cousins of Private Carl Randolph Watson (460085) (q.v.).
