FOULRIDGE

MEMORIAL SERVICE - On Sunday morning last a memorial service was held at the Wesleyan Chapel for two young men whose deaths were made known to their relatives last week. Gunner Wm. Banks, R.F.A., died in hospital from wounds caused by an accidental explosion behind our own lines. He was the only son of Mr. Henry Banks, jun., barber, of Skipton Road, who is also in the army in the R.A.M.C. The other, Pte. Harold Veevers, the youngest son of Mr. Robert Veevers, of 18, Station Road, and was killed in France during the recent fighting.
