1901 Burnley, Lancashire Census: 18, Abel Street - William Rothwell, aged 15 years, born Burnley, son of Jas. H. and Ann Rothwell.

William was married to Ellen (Helen) Reddihough in1905. Helen married Fred Green in 1925 at Barnoldswick, Yorkshire.

1911 Burnley, Lancashire Census: 18, Abel Street - William Rothwell, aged 25 years, born Burnley, husband of Helen Rothwell. [In 1911 William's parents were living at 1, Moor Lane, Padiham.]
