News has reached Mr. James Thompson that his son Corpl. James Thompson, of the Manchesters, who was reported missing two weeks ago, is wounded and a prisoner of war; and Mr. Samuel Bargh, of Ingleborough View, has received word from the War Office that his youngest son, who was reported missing last spring, is still missing and must be considered dead.
