KELBROOK - FORMER RESIDENT KILLED

Mr. W. H. Bishop, insurance agent, Main Street, received news on Sunday (via Canada) of the death of his brother, Pte. Chas G. Gordon Bishop, 52nd Canadian Regiment (Grenade Platoon), who was killed in action in France on the 9th ult. Pte. Bishop was 31 years of age, and unmarried. He was a native of Nelson, but was well known in Kelbrook where he resided for some time before going out to Canada about six years ego. He was employed on one of the Dominion railways until the call of the Motherland proved irresistible, and he landed in England early in the Spring, proceeding to France at the beginning of June.

Gordon Bishop, 52nd Canadian Regiment (Grenade Platoon), who was killed in action in France on the 9th ult. Pte. Bishop was 31 years of age, and unmarried.
