PRIVATE HARPER OF HAWES JUNCTION WOUNDED AND MISSING

The sad news has reached Mr. and Mrs. John Harper of West Mudbecks, Hawes Junction, that their youngest son, Pte. Miles Harper, of the West Yorkshire Regiment, has been officially reported as wounded and missing since September 3rd 1916. He joined the Colours in March and went to France in July. Any news of him would be gladly received by his parents.
