Private Alfred Lord, M.M., West Yorks. Regiment, is seriously ill in a London Hospital from the effects of gas poisoning, his eyes being badly affected. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Lord, 5 East View, Barnoldswick, who have another son [Private Walter Lord] missing.
